Inside Sales Manager

OmniUpdate is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic Inside Sales Manager who will act as a “player – coach” and oversee the day to day operations of a team of Outbound Sales Representatives (SDRs). The ideal candidate will not only manage their own outbound prospecting territory but also motivate, train and evaluate the Sales Representatives and ensure that their responsibilities are performed in a timely and accurate manner with a focus on increasing discovered opportunities, call activity and other Key Performance Indicators. The Inside Sales Manager will report into the VP of Sales & Marketing. This is a full-time position based in our Camarillo offices.  

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Manage a team of SDRs/Inside Sales Representatives focused on driving quality sales pipeline to our enterprise sales team
  • Monitor Sales Development Representatives’ daily work flow and call logs and make and/or recommend process improvements as needed
  • Work closely with sales & marketing to build campaigns and provide prospect feedback 
  • Communicate and follow up to ensure representatives are fully informed of all new information related to products, procedures, customer needs and company related issues, changes and actions
  • Recruit, hire, retain, and provide coaching/development to team members
  • Run various reports to monitor operations and productivity of the department
  • Motivate the sales team through effective management of incentive programs
  • Develop daily, weekly, and monthly goals for team and drive accountability
  • Responsible for identifying, contacting, and creating new discovered sales opportunities from a target prospect list
  • Interact with prospects via telephone and email to uncover pain points, explain the OU Campus solution, identify opportunities and generate interest.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • 2+ years’ experience as SDR/BDR or inside sales and 2+ years of management experience.  Strong preference for outbound experience
  • Track record of success managing a high performing inside sales team
  • Strong understanding of outbound pipeline generation processes
  • Enthusiastic and vibrant attitude
  • Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills, plus outstanding interpersonal, organization and, follow-up skills
  • Excellent computer skills, including the use of Microsoft Office and various web applications
  • Proficiency with Salesforce.com
  • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience
